The area offers a variety of sport fishing, either on the lake or from the shore. Ottsjö has many rivers and smaller streams which can be fished. Ottsjön offers good fishing from boats, which can be hired in the village. Just before heading out onto the thick ice a brief safety talk will be conducted.
You will receive a tuition on how to bore a hole into the crystal clear ice. You will be provided with warm reindeer skin rugs whilst fishing. Including ice fishing equipment and bait, in the hope that you catch your tea. It’s important to realise that the weather can change, therefore warm clothing is essential.
